Connetics

A wholly owned lines infrastructure subsidiary of electricity distribution company Orion which owns and operates central Canterbury’s electricity distribution network - one of the largest in the country. Orion is 89% owned by the investment arm of Christchurch City Council.

Connetics executive office and distribution warehouse opened at Tawa Junction in December 2015. The business also has depot in Christchurch and Palmerston North. It is shifted from Petone to Tawa Junction to enhance its strategic position and further its distribution in Wellington and lower north Island.

Connetics clients include utility network operators, local bodies, industrial and commercial giants, and large-scale property developers including Orion, Wellington Electricity, Christchurch City Council, Selwyn District Council and large commercial enterprises such as Christchurch Airport Company and the Lyttelton Port Company
